Pinova takes great pride in its strong relationship with the local community and key stakeholders. We seek to uphold the relationship through safe operation, open communication, and active support of programs that improve the quality of life for residents of the surrounding area, especially those that enrich education and the environment.

Over 100 Years of Growth and Progress

Surrounded by a vibrant community, Pinova is a major economic engine for Brunswick.

When Pinova was established in 1911, it was surrounded by pine forests, which provided our main raw material: pine stumps. One hundred years later, Pinova now encompasses 152 acres and is surrounded by a vibrant community. Pinova is a major economic engine for Brunswick and provides employment for over 230 employees while purchasing millions of dollars in local goods and services.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our commitment to sustainable operations balances our responsibility to provide economic value for our stakeholders while respecting our neighboring community. This includes a culture of open communication and active outreach to the community where our employees and their families live and engage in recreation.

Corporate Community Outreach

Pinova supports local schools through its partnership with Communities in Schools and supports local colleges through internships, scholarships, and volunteer support.

Employee Community Outreach

Our employees are encouraged to contribute their time and resources and have donated thousands of hours over the years to local organizations, including American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Expanding Your Horizons, Humane Society, Boys and Girls Clubs of Glynn, United Way, and many, many others.

Corporate Environmental Responsibility

Concern for the Environment

Throughout our history, we have stayed on the cutting-edge of environmental safety procedures and continuously work to create a safe environment for our employees and for our community as a whole.

Pinova was recently recognized for outstanding environmental stewardship by Brunswick-Glynn Joint Water & Sewer (BGJWSC) Commission. BGJWSC Chairman Clyde Taylor praised Pinova in the awards ceremony by saying,  "The BGJWSC appreciates your cooperation in helping to minimize water pollution by preventing sewer blockages that can result in sanitary sewer overflows, eliminate pass-through interference at the Academy Creek Water Pollution Control Facility and for being a good steward of the environment."

Pinova is committed to the highest standards of environmental management to ensure that we remain a good neighbor and a valued member of the community.
