Asphalt emulsifier for anionic, slow setting emulsions for paving, surfacing, and sealing applications
Preparation of Neutralized Vinsol XT Asphalt Emulsifier
The procedure for preparation of caustic soap solutions of Vinsol XT (27% total solids) is similar to the standard procedure used for Vinsol resin. Increasing the total sodium hydroxide charge from 11 to 14 pounds per 100 pounds resin is recommended to provide a solution viscosity similar to Vinsol resin.
